Principles of Finance

The grades of the retake exam Principles of Finance which took place on March 11th, 2019 have been entered into the campus management system of the university, so all participants should now find their results there.

The post exam review will take place on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 from 11am-12pm in room 01010 Alte Universität (Dr. Victor Feunou).


Please remember to take your student ID or identity card with you!


The retake exam takes place on March the 11th, 2019 in room 2006 KG II at 9am-12pm. For a correct identification, please bring your UniCard AND your ID to the exam.

Lecture

The lecture starts on Monday, 16.04.2018.

It will introduce the basic principles of asset pricing and the valuation of contingent claims in both complete and incomplete market models.

The course accounts for 6 ECTS based on a 120min written exam.

 

Tutorial Attention: the tutorial takes place on tuesdays!!!

The tutorial starts in the second week on Tuesday, 24.04.2018.

Both General Tutorials start in the third week of the summer term (on April 30th resp. May 03rd, 2018). 

 

Exam

The final exam will take place on Wednesday, August 8th 2018 at 2-4pm in room 2006. For details on the registration and the registration period for the first exam, please also look at the websites of the examination offices of Economics and Mathematics for further information!

The lecture is open for M.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. and M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. VWL and diploma students in their advanced study period.

In M.Sc. Economics, the course can be credited in the profile "Finance".

In M.Sc. Mathematics, the course can be credited for the special profile "Finanzmathematik" or as an elective.

In B.Sc. Mathematics, the course can be credited as an elective.

In M.Sc. VWL, the course can be credited for

  • VWL-Theorie (examination regulations from 2011)

  • Accounting, Finance, and Taxation (new examination regulations, valid from winter term 2014/2015)

In M.Sc. BWL, the course can be credited as elective course Volkswirtschaftslehre.

For VWL Diplom, the course can be credited in "Finanzmärkte und -management" or "Finanz- und Rechnungswesen".
