This course covers advanced microeconomic models. In this regard students are provided with the skills required to understand these models including advanced methods of calculus and basic proof techniques. Students learn how to formalize and analyze individual decision making. They will get acquainted to models of individual choice under certainty and uncertainty. Students will be able to analyze decision problems of firms. They can distinguish between partial analysis of isolated markets and a general analysis considering mutual dependencies of markets.
